Explanatory Notes

If infertility treatment requires IVF, this is referred to an IVF sub-specialist.

Dr Howland is then happy to manage the pregnancy.

Patients requiring major cancer surgery are referred after diagnosis and assessment to a sub-specialist in gynaecological cancer surgery as general gynaecologists almost always find that this gets the best outcome and best cure rate.
